Hi I've lost a few pedicure bookings due to me not offering this in a pedicure. I was taught not to use a blade to remove the hard skin and just to use a foot file I also use a micro plane only when I feel the hard areas are particularly bad. I feel using these two gives a good result. Does anyone use a blade? Thankyou in advance

Take a look at Callus Peel, a great option to a blade, I’d say no to the blade

Hi, perhaps when this occurs you can explain why you don't use them. I always educate them if they ask (illegal where I live) and explain the danger in using such a tool.

Thankyou for replying. Yeah I always say I'm not trained to use them I think some people are just set in their ways and feel it's the only way to make their feet smooth

That's true. Don't give up! I'm sure your pedis are luxe.

Rather than saying you aren’t trained to use them you could say you choose not to use them and give your reasons why.
Post lots of before and after photos showing the results you get without using a blade.

Good idea thanks for your advice :)

I use callus peels and they are much kinda to the feet....you don't really want to remove all the hard skin as it's there to protect the soft skin under it...by using a blade and taking all the hard skin off it can make the feet sore ...callus peels take off the right amount...if they are really bad then they may have to have a series of the treatments but at least they won't have sore feet x
