Bleach blonde to Ellie Golding latest color

Help - I got client who has been having bleach blonde all over shoulder length hair for ages , I doing her tomoro and she just e mailed me a pic of ellie golding - on google the one with the blue mic - she wants to look like her, she got 6 weeks root bout base 6 I not done anything so drastically different before not sure how to treat the bleach blonde ????? I am mobile thanks guys in anticipation

to me it looks like bleach highlights and a lowlight something like 7/1

However if you've got a full head bleach just now as you know the bleach will be a heavy root and highlights will only cover part of the roots which will give the look of still having roots in some way.

Em I'm not sure what I would do for the best result. I would prob be inclined to do full head foils pack them in tight, with a bleach and also a 7/1 foil...depends how light your full head bleach is but I would say then go in with an ashy toner cos the pic looks quite ashy.

Hard to tell though as I don't really know what you are working with. Good luck xx

thanks I was thinking of doing full head foils it is very white so won't need bleach pulled thru to ends would you just do the 7/1 on the blonde and alt on the roots

I looked at the ellie pic again, you might find the 7/1 is a bit ashy so maybe go for 7/0 as you dont want the greeny look....esp if the bleach is already quite "whitey"

so yes just do foils and just do the roots on the bleach, i would prob do 2 bleach and one 7/0 and do them really fine. to blend it all, last thing you want is big brown stripes lol.

just warn her it might still look "rooty"

You dont reckon a 7 can go too dark when it has been bleached?

I've never had a 7 go too dark, in fact sometimes it doesn't go as dark as I thought. I find a big difference between a 7 and a 8 and I would say that in that pic, it's around a 7 the lowlights are. In my experience a base 8 looks golden against bleach, there isn't enough contrast for me. Personal preference.

For the violety look she's got just now (which I quite like!!) I'd be inclined to try something like a /8 on it? I used to use a lot of perfecton and I loved the /8. I just saw it a bit at the Brits.
