Hi everyone!

I'm new to this site and was just wondering if somebody could help me.

I have always used blonde hair extensions #613 but now my hair is like a White blonde and these extensions don't match anymore as they are too yellowy/golden for my hair.

I have spoken to somebody on the halo website who says my hair is between bleached blonde #60 and White blonde #1001. They suggested buying shade #60 and using a silver toner on it to get it to my colour?

I don't know much about toners etc and was just wondering whether this would be ok to do and can anyone suggest a toner to use?

Also, my 613 extensions are nearly new hardly been used...would I be able to get the White blonde colour from toning these extensions rather than spending more money on the #60 ones?

Thanks for your help :)

Hello and welcome to Salon Geek

There are several Hair Geeks on this site, and so no doubt they will be able to answer your questions.

In the meantime, if you click on Forums, then click on The Hair Geek, you'll find lots of hair related threads which may give you hints and tips.

Hope that helps.

Hi, when I get ladies with White blonde hair wanting me to fit extensions I usually use some silvering shampoo on it. You should be able to hold of some from Sally's. I give them a couple of washes in this and that usually tones the yellowness down. I do this on 613 coloured extensions.

Is you use the silver toner this works extremely well with Halos hair, I have done this for a few clients with brilliant results. If you are wanting to use the pre bonded hair Halo offers this is 1001 white blonde or is it clip ins you need?x

Hey, thank u for your replies :)

Yeah it's clip ins that I am after. But I already have some 613 ones that I thought I could use if I can lighten them.

Does this silver shampoo have a special name and how many times would I need to use it on my extensions to make them a White blonde?

Would anyone recommend using bleach on them if the silver shampoo doesn't work?

Xx

If you go to Sally's they have shops all over the place and ask for silverising shampoo, I think the last bottle I had was matrix. I have a client who has washed hers in it after I put them in and they now match really well (her choice to do this as she's a hairdresser).
