Hello,

I was wondering if it is advisable to use bleach and 30vol on the scalp?

After reading a few posts on here ive decided to go for the wella blondor bleach with 30vol and applying it directly on the scalp.

My hair is platinum blonde, very white and usually Id go to my hairdresser but ive just moved abroad and think im capable of doing it myself.

I have about an inch of root and would say my hair is a light to medium brown but has alot of warm golden tones and thats why id rather not use a 20vol.

Any help would be appreciated!!

xx

Hello

I personally use 9% on my scalp and it feels no different to 6% tbh. (As long as my hair hasn't been washed for about 2 days)
Professionally speaking you shouldn't put anything stronger than 6% on your scalp. Blondor is very good, I've used it before and it lifts very quickly.

Totally agree!!

blondor stings my scalp worse than indola blue powder....its horrible stuff

Not all bleaches are suitable for the scalp. Don't risk this yourself.

Thanks for the replies, I didnt know that it was against the rules to advise non professionals, oops.

Blondor is suitable for the scalp, I know this but as my hairdresser is unavailable I wanted more opinions whether to use 6% or 9%
