:rolleyes:hi looking for some advice i have a client booked in as her last hairdresser left the salon she usually goes to

so shes came to me after being recommended by a friend so i want to please her and try keep her as a regular problem is she has really bright blonde hair and extrememly dark roots like a base 2 or 3 i had a look at her hair when she came in to make appointment and its quite broke, i said i wasnt sure if i would be able to get her roots as light as the rest with my own colour so she said she will try and get a hold of the colour she usually gets and has left a message saying it is 900s and 4ovol now i use 900s but i think it would be quite yellow on her roots and to use the 40vol on her scalp i think would make her hair fall to bit as its quite damaged looking so im looking for any advice on what would lift her roots and what could take the yellow out if im using 900s i sometimes put a spot of 911(ash) in but i still dont think it would lift as much heeeelllllpppppp !!!!!!!!!!!!! i use majirel and ion

Majiblonde is designed for use with 40 vol on scalp. If you want a more ash finish, use 901s.
Do not overlap and do not comb through. Process for at least 45 mins or you can use heat.
If it doesnt lift quite enough, go over the front with neat 900s no peroxide for the last 15 mins as this pushes the tint lighter.
With high lift tints you can be fearless as long as you apply correctly.
Dark roots always look darker than they really are.

yeah, your high lifts are not damaging like bleach, so dont worry too much about the existing poor condition hair.

However, if the hair is as dark as you say it is....maybe try bringing it up a few shades with bleach and 20 vol....once you have some lift, you could always use 901 with 40Vol to do the last bit of lifting to the light ash blonde...then you have not caused much damage with the bleaching process. HOWEVER be careful not to overlap your bleach much.

Thats what I would try anyway....
