Hiya,
first things first im not a hair geek, i have no clue what im talking about tbf :)

but my situation is i have had dark hair for a while which i recently got loads of blonde highlights in to, but after a while of being mainly blonde ive decided it isnt for me as i cant afford the u keep of paying for my colour at a salon.
and i have now decided i fancy going red, abit like cheryl coles colour.

would i have to colour my hair back dark before i went red so as not to end u with different tones to my colour?

Hi,

If it is a matter of cost may I suggest you go into a good local salon and see if they do a training night - they would probably love a colour change model for the more advanced trainees, or a college - it can be hard to get models for dramatic changes and you would know you are going to get what you want and the trainee benefits too.

Ps Please let me know what you do.

Ps Again - They may charge a small fee but probably not that much.

If you were my client ( depending on the condition of your hair ), i would pre pigment your hair first with red perfecton from wella ( on the blonde ) , then apply my selected shade. I would advise using a semi first as usually grabs better and it easier to change if you didn't like it. After a few applications over time it will take longer to fade.
