Hey guys,
Can I get some advice on covering permanent vibrant orange hair please? Natural colour is ash dark blonde base 6/7. The idea is to return as close as possible back to that colour. Hair is slightly damaged. Box dye used is 7.4 Olia bold copper.

Thanks!

I would bleach wash it first and see how it lifts out as it's very bright. And see how it goes from there as that's more of a colour correction so I can't know what the next step I would take would be [emoji85]

A 6.11 would cover it as it has a double ash content. Going 1 level darker than the level 7 color is best because it will have a slightly higher ash pigment concentration & will like all color fade a bit over time. The 6.11/6Aa looks drab in the swatch but it is what is needed to counter the orange pigment in the hair. Use with 10vol developer only not 20 as 20vol can cause un-needed lift exposing more warmth after the color fades a bit.
