Bridal nails help

Hey guys, needing some advice on how to achieve this look - French ombré using Shellac. I've done ombré with Shellac before but can't quite get the neat blend that the pictures always show. With these being bridal nails for a co worker I want them to be perfect. Any suggestions would be appreciated?!

So what I do is paint half with the pink then paint the white in the bottom the sponge the white up onto the pink

Aww perfect, thanks for your reply, what type of sponge do you use? I am going to drive myself demented before I get it right I think! Lol x
