Brown to ash blonde

Hi I am normally in nails but I need someone to tell (not asking for diy) me if a hairdresser would do highlights or an all over colour to get from this (sorry about the greasy hair) to this
I have only had one hairdresser and she no longer does hairdressing so I have been searching for a new one I have been told but one hairdresser that she will do a full head of highlights but as I have only ever had one hair dresser I just need to know would highlights work? Thanks guys x

It will get you blonde. But not as globally blonde as that photo... you'll have to build it up that way

Yeah I know it will probably take a couple more sessions but as I hate going to new hairdressers it can take time for me to trust them but yeah as long as highlight could achieve this as I didn't know x

My hair was like a very dark red but has faded to like a light/medium brown x

I think when bleach touches it, it will go dayglow orange. You can get it to maybe an 8 at one go then tone down the yellow. Maybe the next session go in with fine back to back foil highlights in the next session.

Thank you but I have no clue what an 8 means as I'm not a hairdresser lol was just wondering roughly how many sessions as I don't have much money but I am defo expecting it to go ginger/orange at some point

I think it will most likely take two appointments to achieve what you are looking for. You need to find a colorist that is well versed in color correction. No one will let you walk out looking orange. Good luck. Do go to a pro though, it will be well worth the money in the end.

Yeah I am defo getting a hairdresser to do it I have found a hairdresser with 20 years experience so going with her and good lol think I would wear a hat if I had to go ginger/orange for a bit lol thank you for the advice
