Hi beauty babes [emoji1384]‍♀️

I had a client last night that got talking about her nails that she gets done by a lady who works from home like myself.
She was telling me that she has gel polish which is what I do but her lady also uses a builder gel which seems to make her nails last 4 weeks plus. I’ve never heard of this and I’m interested if it gives clients a longer lasting gel.
Have any of you used this technique and if so what brands would you suggest? This lady uses gel bottle I think it’s called.

Gel polish on its own will not really add any strength so yes for those clients with weak nails this should certainly help. It is nothing new though . Every one will have their own favourite brand to use and clearly for me as a distributor I always use our own brand :)

The gel bottle - builder in a bottle. I use on one person who nothing stays on and she got 18 days and probably could have gone longer. It was bawler. It’s also a soak of builder which is great

I've been using The Gel Bottle's Builder in a Bottle (BIAB) since October on the majority of my clients as an overlay over natural nails or tips. Before trying it I had heard many reports of it being a game changer - and they're not wrong! There is no Lifting or chipping and clients come back with all nails intact. I don't encourage clients to go longer than 2-3 weeks beteeen infils but it does happen from time to time and they still come back intact! I wasn't sure about using it with a different brand of gel polish but it works absolutely fine with INK and Cuccio Veneer, the 2 brands I use. I was advised to use their rubber Base ONTOP of the BIAB before applying my gel colour and I've always had great results doing it this way.

Oh amazing! So when do you apply the builder? Is it before the gel polish or as the final coat at the end?

Ok fab. So do you use the builder after prep as a base or at the end as a final top coat? X

That’s good! Do you charge extra? As this other nail tech charges an extra £5 if using builder x

Builder is used after pref and after a base gel . Then you apply builder , File to perfect then apply colour x

You use it before gel polish. A word of warning though, if you are only trained in gel polish application, bear in mind that BIAB is a builder gel and it is much thicker and it isn't applied like a gel polish. Have a look on YouTube and you'll see how it's used.
