Burned fingers using LED lamp

I used sunscreen & my fingers didn't burn, so in my case I think it is my lamp.

Do they usually burn?

LED lights don't emit heat so unlikely. More chances of 'sunburn' from a UV lamp but again in such small doses for such short periods of time, highly unlikely.
