Buying a existing business hair salon 3 full time employed and beauty £50 per week rent self employed but want to employ beauty and not rent how to do this and will it cause problems
my area of expertise is beauty therefore I would like to build up beauty and nt have anyone renting ?
what to do?

The only thing you can do is give her notice (whatever notice period is in her original contract) on the room she rents. If she has no contract I would give her a month to find where else to rent

From a beauticians point of view who rents in a salon I would be furious if someone did this to me. Need to think how long has she been there to build up her clientele . Will they all follow her if she leaves and take away business from the salon . Just my personal opinion.

That's the risk you take renting a room or a building. Could happen to anyone.

what if I offer her a job say 30 hrs a week?

I agree if I got told hotel I work at been sold and they now hiring their own staff and I must leave within a month I would be gutted. And I would probably open up next door just to spite them as most clients have your personal number anyhow. And clients usually develope a relationship with the therapist.

However from your point of view as the new salon owner. You bought business and have every right to want to expand as you wish and especially if beauty is your passion.

So perhaps approach her and be open about it. I'm think people appreciate honesty. Say what you would like to do and ask her if she would be interested in staying on as staff as you would live her part of your team etc... She might say yes or no.
Won't hurt to ask, just how you ask is the key.

So good luck and all the best withy or new salon! Xx

Beauty at your finger tips!
