HI ive been doing nails for only a short time (about 12 months) ive never had any compliants about my work, but i did a full set on tuesday but ive since found out that a few of the ladies nails have fallen off, can some people have too much oil on their natural nail plate. (ive done all the prep correct has ive been taught) is it just that the client hasnt followed my after care advice.
the lady works behind a bar and has been movin barrels of beer.
i hope it makes sense what ive wrote.
can anyone please help as iam worried now about doing furture sets.

Now come on!!

I think the lady's job can probably account for the stresses that have broken some nails don't you? Rather than an oily nailplate.

It is so obvious to me ... don't be afraid to suggest that maybe she should wear her nails a little shorter to accommodate her work.

When you are new, it is easy to have your confidence knocked and to blame yourself because you have not come across this situation before BUT many of us HAVE. And we've all been taken in in the past and got wiser with experience. You are lucky to have the benefit of all that experience. Learn to be firm but friendly and repair for a cost not for free.

Hi Emma totaly agree with geeg i used to have client when i first started whos nails just kept falling off and she said she was doing everything correctly turned out she was using them to open her cans of coke dont be fooled she should have them shorter and dont do them free of charge as this is her fault

Hey, Also remember there is a cure time usually 48 hours, so if she is ruff on those nails they wont stay on. I had one client who did great never had a problem. Well she came and got a new set and told me they all came off. Well come to find out she got her nails done and then went and deep cleaned her house. She didnt give them time to cure. Also Creative Solor oil can speed it up to 24 hours if applied 2-4 times a day. Hope this helps.
