If the question is could we make you retrain or is it in the small print? The answer is no.
However if there were legitimate complaints against a nail pro and let's say their last completed classes were 2/3 years ago... we could refuse to sell the professional products until update training was completed. This really is hypothetical but I guess it could happen.
It is not something we have ever done but if I thought it warrented it and that there were enough legitimate complaints to us.. I would do that. It would be the responsible thing to do should unprofessional treatments be given and customers were complaining left, right and centre.
All nail pros should completing at least one new class per year anyway! HTH's.
Thanks for the answer! I guess if someone did produce work was sooooo bad it wouldn't be long before they had no clients & as result no money to buy supplies anyway! Was just curious that's all.
Which she couldn't possibly do as the lady didn't give her the opportunity!
Thank you to everyone at S2 for your support and back up but unfortunately this is not going to stop this client.
She would not accept what I and S2 were saying and is aderment that she is now going to trading standards and telling everyone she knows never to come to me. She called me a lier and was so abusive - I wouldn't hurt a fly!
I am so distraught, I think I am going to close and will lose all the money I have put into it. Why me? I hope this never, ever happens to anyone else. x x x
hi I am CND nail technican and I am a very sad to hear that kind of story , but you should not worry about it because if this lady was not happy with your service she should to tell you about it and show what is wrong when she saw it ,sometimes even masters nail technican made some worst nails. This kind of customers are the worst but you did your job the best as you could.Dont give up we are learning on our mistakes and with every nail set we are getting better and more experienced. Even that lady says about you someting not nice she will be not able to destroy of your reputation.I am on the verge of giving it all up! I have just spent a fortune on Shellac too!
I made an earlier post about a client's complaint. Following my own thoughts and advice from others (thank you, I really do appreciate your help and I am not being sarcastic) I told my client that I would not be able to give her a refund for a set of acyrlic overlays as it was over two weeks later that she complained and did not actually come back to see me and show me her nails.
She has now said that she will will report me to trading standards and has already reported me to CND!!!! She is also threatening me with slander against mt name.
I am absolutely distraught. She is claiming that Creative have said they are disgusted with what she has told them and if I do not refund her then they will need me to retrain and send people round to have their nails done to assess me???
I hope there is someone nice on the phone tomorrow when I ring Sweet Squared to find out what on earth is going on!:sad:
Has anyone else been in this position?? All I am trying to do is earn a small living to support my family and enjoy doing nails. x x
Hi Everyone, just to say another huge thank you for all your support and to let you know I used this to find my strength within and have already got back on the horse! I have done a lovely set of natural acrylic nails this evening and my client was extremely pleased! Thank goodness
I last spoke to THE LADY this morning and finished by saying as far as I was concerned the matter was finished. I will contact my insurance company and if she contacts me again I will do as suggested.
Thanks again x x x
