Can I use different branded acrylic liquid and powder?

I have some "The Edge" acrylic powder but stopped doing acrylics as husband didnt like the smell, Ive just found the NSI odour free range and wondered if i could use my existing powder, rather than buying another pot of acrylic (i am just going to be playing about at this point to refresh myself on technique and application)
any help would be much appreciated

No you can't. Chemically they haven't been designed to work together. One of the basic rules is don't mix different brand monomer and polymer.

I had to use my NSI liquid with my CJP powder once as my delivery hadn't arrived. But this was only on myself. But I probably wouldn't try it on a client Xx
