Can lotion cause my lifting issues?

Hi, I had my nails done a while back and had bad lifting issues. My tech looked at the ones that were lifting (almost all of them) and she fixed them for me. I asked her a ton of questions about the cause. She has no idea why. We can't figure out what the deal is. She said she is doing all that she was trained in and that she is using a primer. :sad:
Anyway I would like to know if it could be the lotion I am using on my hands? I use one that has a touch of mineral oil in it. I asked my tech if that could be it and she doesn't know.
