This might be a silly questions, but i'm not a hair dresser or extensionist so I'm not sure. I have virgin hair extensions in at the moment, had new ones after having the last lot in for over a year. But the new ones have a natural curl to them, which I am not entirely happy with :( i normally have my hair straight so it is a lot of effort to keep them this way!! Is it possible to chemically straighten the extensions or will this damage or dry them out too much?? Are there any tame hair straightening treatments available??

Any advice would be appreciated!

Does anyone have any advice on this??

best asking your extensionist to get some silky straight ones for you, dont attempt chemical straightening!!! leave it to the pros otherwise it could all end in an awful mess.
virgin hair tends to have a slight wave. get in touch with your extensionist again and explain this all to them, they may be able to source a different type of hair for you

hey, I was wondering this as well but after researching lots I found that as siobrennan said- virgin hair has a bit of a wave to it and chemically straightening it would be damaging to the hair. I reckon either get the hair extenionist to change the hair to straight remy hair OR to go for a brazilian blowdry on both your hair and the extensions (obviously avoiding the bonds ;) ) as I guess thats what they'd have to do to the virgin hair to get it straight anyway?! hope this helps! x
