Because I struggled and couldn't get all the hairs out. Mind you I didn't use half as many spatulas as I did the first time.

I have a chap who I see every three weeks - but his hair is thick and coarse and grows like mad!

So the short answer to your question is 'yes' - but is does depend on the client, your wax and your perfect pressure on the spatula and strip.

Generally speaking, no. But Jason is right, there are always exceptions.

You can......but I wouldn't. You are best to wait 4 weeks or 5 if their hair is course at it will come out clean and leave a better finish.

I have waxed clients after 3 weeks, I don't like to do it because I don't think the result is generally very good, but sometimes someone will need say a bikini wax before a holiday and the timing has got out of sync. Under these circumstances I would take out any really sort ones with pointed tweezers. Ouch!

It is a good habit, when re-booking a client, to ask them if they have any holidays or special occasions coming up. Then you can plan their appts over 2/3/4 months and make sure they have optimum hair growth when it matters most.

Just to add to what Zoe has said.........what I do is go to the date of their holiday in my diary and work backwards to the present time. That way, as said, they'll get the best growth and wax for their hols or whatever the occasion.

Thank you for all your replies. They are going on holiday at the weekend and did say they knew it wasn't long since their last wax. I just felt bad that I couldn't get all the hairs out. Also this time I tried the oil before the wax but it didn't seem to work so reverted back to powder and got more hairs out. I know its just practise but it just throws your confidence, well it does mine.
