Hi there. I've searched the whole forum, but couldn't find the answer to my question.

my question is what hair colour/mixer do you recommend to achieve candy floss pink? and most importantly - i will be buying my products from sallyexpress.com. i'm looking for something that will last as long as it can. i don't want to end up with my hair being very hot pink.

this is exactly what I'm after (4 min 50 sec) you might know this girl from britains and irelands next top model: Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model S07E06 part 2/3 - YouTube

ps - i will be getting my hair done professionally, however, i would like different opinions.

if your going to a hairdresses they should now how to get this colour so you will be fine!!
if your not traind in hair you carnt be given advice on salon products!!sorry!!
should look hot though love the colour!!:D

i will be going to the hairdessers and getting it done pro. however, as the haidresser is fitting me in her tight schedule (and i will be getting it done at her home), i will be going to buy the dye/mixer, and i want to make sure that I have different opinions from different people. she knows exactly what i should buy, but i thought that maybe someone on here has had this exact colour and could recommend me the best :)

it's my first time dying my hair - ever! - and i'm freaking out over the fact that it will come out too pink or vivid! the haidresser has 20+ years of experience, but i want to make sure that i buy the best i can!

your hairdresser can tell you exactly what to buy hun otherwise it will just confuse you x

To be honest, it really looks like theyve used a semi permanent colour, think directions, crazy colour etc. These are all readily available all over the place and arent necessarily for professionals as they dont require any mixing, unless you want to lighten the tone. I know plenty of people (including me) who have achieved that pink by buying a bottle of hot pink and mixing it with conditioner to tone it down. Its the gentlest and easiest way for a non hairdresser to achieve that kind of colour as there is no developer involved. However, it doesnt always come out very evenly and that is quite visible on the video.
