Hello everyone

I am new to this forum and I'm wondering if it's ok for me to ask for some help? I don't mean to come across as rude.

The thing is that I am 37 and my hair has started to go white a few years ago. It's starting to get more obvious and I would like to dye my hair. I am very happy with my natural hair colour (minus the white) so having my hair dyed has always been somewhat of a difficult decision. Especially since I had it dyed a few times professionally years ago and the colour never resembled my own.

I would like to find the perfect colour for me. Preferably one I can purchase myself and then do at home since I feel like if I have to get it done professionally all the time it will not be possible financially.

Could someone help me out? I can upload a few pictures if it would help.

Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm in the wrong place!

No on is going to give you advice about diy hair color. Hair coloring is much more complex than tv advertising makes it out to be.

The good news is that thete are now many products a professional has to choose from that will provide the results you want if mixed and applied correctly. Go for a few consultations and choose the hairdresser you feel most comfortable with. I promise, you won't be disappointed! :)

You could go to a college salon if your in a financial fix, I know it can be costly to try to keep up with covering greys, in a college they'll be supervised by the tutors and it will cost a fraction of what it would in the salon, they always need people to come in
