Cert 3 or apprenticeship - Australia

Im 42 and currently doing my cert 2 salon assistant. I did some hairdressing apprenticeship and work in salons when younger but had my children and did jobs to fit in with them . They're older now ans Im so keen to get back into hairdressing but not sure which way to go, do cert 3 or an apprenticeship??

In the U.K., it’s very difficult to get a hairdressing apprenticeship once you’re that bit older, partly due to the requirement for salons to pay the higher rate of minimum wage.
