I am a registered nurse looking for a change-I have always been intrigued with nails. So I've decided to take a nail tech course. Has anyone else traded up careers for something fun like this? I am a little nervous about the income change from the medical field to the nail industry. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The first few years are extremely rough I would not give up your day job as pay within the hair and beauty sector is low, especially if you need to pay for healthcare, rent e.t.c. Saying this it is deeply rewarding but hard work I suggest saving a few months worth of living expenses and work experience as working in nails is different from doing them on a friend.
