Hey geeks :) I'm looking to change products from Tigi. I love tigi products but it just seems every salon in my area uses them and now there available to purchase from tj Hughes, tk max at half the retail value I sell them for. I'm hoping to change to something abut more exclusive such as label m, kerastase, kms or Sebastian just wondered which you guys thought were the best also an idea of costing for initial order. Any help is much appreciate thanks x

Completely depends on the area you are in, and you have to think are people gonna spend money on ranges such as kerastase? I love it but it's pricey, have you considered Paul Mitchell? That always flys off the shelf

Yeh I think kerastase is a bit pricey at the moment I really like the look of label m products what do you use blue rinse?

Paul Mitchell products, ghd straightners and currently loreal colours but changing shortly, I have not worked with label m but from what I've seen and heard it's a bit of a no choice range? Very small, and linked to Toni & guy lol

Used Redken for years and love it.
this is high end like Kerastase
the salon im in now
uses SystemProfessional Wella
this is good so far.:)

I like system professional products I just found they don't retail very well as the stereo type that's attached to wella with it being "old" but from a professional opinion I love sp products iv never used reform what's it like? X

From a non hairdresser and as a consumer, Kerastase. As long as your clients will buy it. Maybe this is because I'm a firm believer in salons having the best of the best. If they won't buy it then I don't know sorry. x

I really like joico! Their products are really good. I use them at home & in the salon. But I also like kenra and use at home & in the salon.

Im loving the Osis range from Schwarzkopf.
The revamped Wella looks fab though, picked up some leave in treatment for the back bar and it was great.
Although, iv had 3 meetings with the Wella rep in a month and she hasnt turned up for 1 yet :(

I am a die hard Paul Mitchell fan. Although i have tried some of the new Wella Professionals range and i love it!

I like the look of the new wells professional range but like I said in a previous post I've mentioned it to a few clients and they say they've left salons for using wells as they feel it's dated x

Hey kitty I've heard good things about Paul Mitchell products one o my stylists worked with it in a previous salon and loved it do you have any idea of costing? X

the new wella care and style range only came out in january and its the first professional hair brand to advertise on television - its in lots of magazines too (Look!, Reveal etc) so theres a good buzz around it then their SP range is a little more higher priced

as an ex hairdresser when i used to work as a hairdresser we did well with l'oreal an matrix products they did exactly wat they said on the tin
