Charging models

I'm almost finished a UV gel nail course and wanted to get some practice on real hands rather than a nail trainer. Can i charge models whilst training to cover the costs of buffers/files/get etc before i've qualifed or must i have qualifed first to charge for any services.

You firstly need to be insured as you are working on people. If you are charging money for services I guess you need to be registered as a business or self employed, but what I did was practice for free and not charge money for models till I was set up as a business.

just ask for donation towards your products, im sure most people would be only to willing to help
