Nails aren't indestructable some clients don't understand this. Have you asked her how it broke? Was she doing a specific task? Some clients will be honest and admit it was something they did others won't. I sometimes will do a repair for free if I know the client is a good reliable regular and doesn't really have many accidents. But sorry to say you can get the odd few who are really accident prone or try to get something for nothing and will always be breaking nails so sometimes you have to charge. 5 days is pretty soon after to have a break. Could it have been a nail that needed replacing when you were infilling?
Anyway if you decide to charge I normally do it at a percentage of what your full set cost so if you charge lets say £35 for a set tou would charge £3.50 for 1 nail.
Hope this helps : )
