I'm thinking of offering chrome. Would people recommend Lecente chromes please? How easy is application? I currently use Shellac and Lecente glitter. Thank you.

I just use a chrome I got off eBay... I think the main thing you need is a tack free topcoat for the chrome to keep its chrome look otherwise it just ends up looking like glitter. I use a sponge tip eye shadow applicator to apply it and really rub it in! Some people use makeup sponges to apply it too!

However I recently did a CND shellac course and she showed the lecente chrome application as an extra and it looked really good!

Thank you for your reply, that's really helpful. I also completed my CND Shellac course recently.

Sorry to jump on your post I need tips for creating the perfect French shellac manicure without using a stencil x

I'd say use a tiny brush with some scrub fresh on it to make the smile line nice and crisp! I'm no good at French either but that's what I'd do!

Thanks Steph that's great advice appreciate that! Me neither only ever done one before on a client. But as she is having Gel extentions too need to ensure I get the tip accurate as I'm not following her natural nail xx

Even if you do it really messy you could always clean it up with the scrub fresh! So much easier doing a shellac French than a normal polish French [emoji23]

You could always use a white tip if she's having extensions, this would cut a lot of time off too as you wouldn't need to blend it.

That's great thanks Steph x

Use the Lecentre Layer over the gel polish, then put on the chrome - it holds lovely.

Thank you. I think I'll purchase some from Sweet Squared and see how I get on.

So I apply Shellac top coat, then Layer it then chrome?

I always use D Sperse to tidy up. Is that not correct?

You're right to use D Sperse, Scrubfresh has acetone in it so may cause service breakdown if applied to Shellac
