I've only just introduced chrome nails. Do you charge extra for this? If so how much extra [emoji16]

Hi Buffed Bronze, personally We don't charge any extra, we have a standard charge of 15 pounds for a Gel Polish. Xx

Thanks for the reply. I was going to charge a few £ extra for a set for product etc

I would say an extra £5 x

You sure can, I'm sure they would pay xx

Why would anyone NOT charge extra? It cost extra to buy, and takes extra time to do. Def worth +£4/5.

I was just asking! as like someone said some people do not charge for this but I didn't want to be the only one that did

When it comes to gel polish I just don't, I would use glitter on gel polish and not charge. However can see why people do. Each to their own. Xx

I norm charge 15 for gel and now charge 20 with chrome powder.. customers are more than willing to pay extra they are fab ✴

I charge 50p a nail for nail art, depending how much effor it is. If it takes a while can be up to £2 a nail!

I work for a chain of nail bars...the ones who do offer the chrome powder charge an extra $15 CAD :S

And the best application for a mirrored effect please?
I work with Jessica GELeration and artistic colour gloss.

I wish I could achieve a mirror effect with Jessica. I just get a sparkly look more than mirrored. I assume it's because Jessica isn't a no wipe top coat ??

Their glitters are not fine enough, I did buy a chrome glitter at Professional Beauty North but can't get the mirrored effect, it also peeled off, applied it as I did the Jessica loose glitter, so obvi doing something wrong.

I'm really can't get the hang of it, it just ends up looking glittery still pretty but it the effect I'm looking for. Any tips would be great x

Which chrome powder do you use? So many out there don't know which ones are best!

Apparently magpie glitter in tiara is your best bet but whenever I've looked it's been out of stock [emoji107]
