Finally conquered chrome nails but not coloured ones. Any tips please?

I too am struggling to get a colour effect using Chrome powder other than silver. I'm trying to achieve a rose gold effect and have used various pink shellac colours underneath but nothing is strong enough to pull a true rose gold colour? Tips please? X

You need a good strong or bright base colour for it to show through the chrome powder. But if you've tried that then maybe it's your chrome powder that's the problem? I use Magpie's Tiara which allows the underneath colour to come through. Perhaps try a different chrome powder, a lot of it's trial and error.

You also need to make sure you buff the powder in throughly, usually til you hear a bit of a 'squeak'

Try using an orange.
I use Gelish, but I'm sure shellac would be the same.
I tried chrome over all different pinks and I couldn't get rose gold. Did it over orange and it's perfect! x

Thanks! Yes I tried over bright oranges and pinks but to no avail, so I've ordered the magpie one which arrives next week so hopefully that will do the trick!! Thank you

When you get tiara try it over tropix in shellac and it makes a rose gold

Does anyone have any tips on the best no wipe top coat/ the method
They use with a regular top coat?
