Hi Peeps
I wondered if someone could clarify for me whether or not after completing an essential nails home learn course if Creative would accept you on to a conversion course?
Look forward to your replies!

No, I am afraid not! Sorry

Hi,

Is there any particular reason they intend to study one course with the intention of then doing a conversion? Why not just train with Creative in the first place if those are the products they want to use?

Have they started the EN course yet? If not, maybe they should reconsider? If they have, I'll shut up!

Allot of people see training with another company and then converting to Creative as a 'dodge' for paying for the whole Creative Foundation Class.
The Creative Foundation class is actually very good value for money with 2 huge value added features ... included in the price is the professional kit of CND products, and the Nail Trainer. These 2 items are worth a considerable amount af money.

No other company offers anything close to the standard of Creative training and yet many now charge more for training than CND do with no value added features. CND want you to succeeed in your business .. with many others, they just want the money for your training. My opinion

Hi

I just wanted to add a bit of imput here!!

I did a course in acrylic (L&P) and when i did this course it was all obviously really new to me the whole wonderful world of nails.

I 'jumped' in did my course and it's not until i came accross this site that I realised I had made a major mistake!

I had not even 'heard' of Creative.

I know i am not alone on this one - i have met some good buddy's off this site who have had the same experience with 'very basic' training - ie feeling you've come away not knowing nearly enough.

However, i have taken this onboard.... visit this site daily, prescribed to Prof Nails and Scratch Mags, bought Complete Nail technician, and read....read...read....practised....practised...got myself on other courses (bio gel) booked myself some one to one to improve my knowledge and skills.....so by the time i've finished it probably would have been cheaper to do the foundation course!

My goal is to convert to creative when i am competent enought...cant wait!

Hi,

What previous qualifications are needed to do a Creative conversion course?

I too have realised since visiting this site that there is a lot more to be learned!
I want to train with Creative to be the best I can be!

OMG - my spelling was awful on that thread!! And i meant to say Subscribed to the mags (duh ...its only monday too!!!)

Ring a Creative Academy Adviser and tell them your qualifications. They will need proof of training that is recognized by CND for your conversion. Some company training they do not accept as adequate to be able to do a simple product conversion.
