Hi Guys

Just wondering about the process of client consultation/record cards when mobile.

I am starting out and I have client information forms (A4 sizes) ready to go but was wondering how you store this information? Do you take them with you when going to future appointments? Are clients required to complete new forms for each appointment?

Any info is greatly appreciated :)

I keep all of my paper record cards securely stored at home, and only bring the clients cards that I have appointments with for the day. You need to make sure noone else has access to your other clients cards, for example don't take them all to every single client etc.
I also always bring a few blank ones, just in case as well.

You don't need the client to fill in a new one every appointment, however before I start each appointment, I always ask if any of their details have changed, or if they have had any health issues, reactions or anything else since the last appointment.

You also need to make sure the record cards are securely backed up in the event of your paper copies being lost or damaged, so investigate a way of electronically back the information up, securely.

If ever in doubt though, you are best contacting your beauty insurance company, they will be able to advice you.
