clients complained of Cracking on L&P at Free edge

Ohh I am so so depressed, i still can't get past set backs even after all this time :cry:

I went to see a client on 22nd Sept for the first time and at this appointment put on a set of P&W L&P enhancments (Nail Orders L&P)....she had very sort nails very little free edge on any....and glady she agreed to have an active and practical length....well I took 2 hours :suprised: but any way I was really pleased with my work......that much I was dead mad my picture didnt come out (I am crap with technology) :o

but she called yesterday morning to cancel her infill appointment for this Wednesday when I asked whey she said they had all cracked at the end of her own nail and so she cut them down then ended up taking them all off......

I was so surprise as she seem like an intelligent woman and I get fed up of this happening to me - i stresss to them time and time again - any problems call me why wont people listen to me, I am not saying this for the hell of it - i mean it.....

I did say to her that she should have called me as discussed and I would have poppped round to fix any problems...

I am now going round on wednesday to give her a mini-manicure and to look at her nail plates to see if there are any clues, as I feel a little bit sceptical if this is what happended....and for good customer service I dont want her giving me a bad name as she is in a key area and I know she has a wide circle of firends to.... :cry:

God I am so fed up...the wind has been knock out of my sails,

So any advice is glady received, if you think from what I have said I could have done something wrong......because I havent got a clue :o

Sounds like it's that old prob of clients telling porkies, if I had a tenner for every time I've heard this I'd be very rich!!! Keep your chin up, I know it is really hard when you have a comeback, but concentrate on all your GOOD work.

Cheer up Baby!! This has happened to me before. Sometimes you think you've done a stunning job, and find out later that "All Hell Broke Loose"!! LOL!
If the client is willing to see you again, just do a thorough investigation on what may have went wrong. You'll be surprised what you may find out.

Cracking usually indicates that she probably banged them -
how did the cracks happen - they don't usually appear from nowhere!

Did they all crack? - not likely.

Sometimes some people just don't get on with enhancements and it's not always down to you !!

just a thought, but i've had clients, mostly nail biters, who without really knowing it seem to test the edges of their nails with their teeth to test the strength of them. then wonder why they are cracked.

i know it sounds weird, but i am a former nail biter and used to do the same, and half the time didn't know i had done it till it was too late.

How was your stress area? Did you build it up ok?

I think I did, well 80% :o it was over a week ago....I am assuming theres no other explanation for this then other than not enough build up in Stress area, her nibbling or excessive stress on them within the 24-48 hour period of full polymerisation.... :irked:

Oh I dont take if personally but its bad press which I dont need....you know how people like to bitch about bad service and I dont want that..as it soooo not true :irked:
