why do they do this!

iv just had a new client this morning that has obviously had a lovely Graduated bob, but had then decided the front bits were too long so had cut them off herself, very short and very blunt straight across!
no way of blending it unless she went short!

it never looks good! they must think our job is easy! :D

Ah yes, the dreaded words when you get there, 'I had a go at cutting my fringe/hair myself. Think I did it ok...'
Really??? Cue us thinking quickly to how we can correct the mess they've made..... And they never learn!

I have cut my friends daughters hair since she was 8 months, shes now 3 1/2, i've been careful not to give her a 'big' fringe and I always had lots of compliments from others about how nice her hair looks. I went to cut it the other day and was quite concerned that I must have made a big mistake last time and cut more fringe (starting from the crown), my friend assured me she hadn't touched it. Turns out 'granny' thought it was in her eyes so chopped a great load off!!!! I had to layer it to try and rectify the damage. aarrrggghhh

some of my clients swear blind that they havent touched their fringe with blunt kitchen scissors but you can always tell hehe
