CND LED lamp broken!

My CND led lamp 2s button doesn't work all of sudden the others do and it's only 4/5 months old I have only used it for 1 set as I noticed when I went to cure my colour coat so I used the 3 button instead I am worried it won't cure properly. If I ring elisions will I have to send it back wait for a repair or do they just replace it? I have a lot of clients having shellac over the next couple of days I will have to cancel without my lamp

Button 3 has an 'S' on it for Shellac, its the one you use for Shellac, the B on 2 stands for Brisa. You're using it right, you'll be fine until you can send it back

Yes but as its for the topcoat would it cute the colour coat properly?

Trinity I think you got confused.
She used button 3 - top coat to cure shellac, as button 2s isn't working.

I would use 2b to cure shellac. If it's strong enough for brisa, then it's strong enough for shellac.
Or perhaps a combo of 2b and 3, for every layer just to be on the safe side
Send it back as soon as you can

Hmm that's true, I am not sure why I chose 3S to be honest I was just panicking! I'm going to call first thing tomorrow I hope they are quick to sort it

Yes but as its for the topcoat would it cute the colour coat properly?

Button 4 is for topcoat as it flashes for the first 10 seconds to prevent heatspike

Button S is for Shellac colour coats (3rd)
Button B is for Brisa (2nd)

Yes, I have used the button labelled 3 that is for the top coat to cure my colour coats as my 2S button stopped working half way through my clients manicure and I was wondering if this would mean it hasn't cured properly. I am aware it isn't ideal but my 2S button has broken

Right to left
1 - basecoat - Shellac and Brisa
2 - labelled 2B - Brisa gel
3 - labelled 2S - Shellac colour coats
4 - top coat - Shellac and Brisa

Too many buttons not enough labels lol

You should be fine, I'd use the Brisa button instead next time

How confusing this has been haha! Yes that makes perfect sense I just didn't think at the time, have you ever sent a faulty lamp back before? I have never heard of this happening

No, i dont use Ellisons either. Yours is the first faulty one I've heard of. I've heard of people having curing problems but not a broken bulb issue

I hope they sort it quickly, I have heard of faulty leads never faulty buttons! I have only just started using sweet squared I think I prefer it! Went with Ellisons because they sent me £75 worth of savings when I first bought all my kit

This happened to mine also. I got the LED lamp from SS a couple of months ago and the 2S button only worked intermittently. I sent them a video of me pressing the button and nothing happening. They sent a replacement out straight away.

They have been really good I will have new one tomorrow morning, I was worried I would have to wait ages for a repair
