Hi, I'm looking at getting the new CND LED lamp. I currently use CND, Gelish and IBD. Will these polishes set correctly in this light? I was using a cheap lamp previously but it wasn't setting the CND polish correctly. Thank you x

Everyone will tell you to use the lamp that goes with the brand. However, I use IBD and use a cuccio lamp. IBD lamps are very difficult to get hold of. I've found out in my search from IBD info that IBD will cure under any led lamp at normal led times. However if your using a uv lamp the times need to be extended otherwise it won't cure properly. So for your CND and IBD you will be fine but I don't know about gelish as I don't use it x

You must use the lamp that goes with the brand. If the company tells you that you can any lamp, they are lying to you.

Every gel polish is formulated differently, and every nail lamp emits energy differently.

Gels get hard under a UV light, but properly cured gels requires a specific amount of UV light that can only be offered by a specific lamp.
