CND Romantique, please help

I tried to do this colour to a friend that she is going to be a bridesmaid but it's not looking very well can you please help me and tell me what I did wrong? I asked her to do her nails from the beginning but how can achieve nice colour?

I find romantique really streaky and uneven looking. I don't think it's anything you've done. I find three thin coats looks better than two regular coats, but I hate using it and avoid it if I can! (Sorry - not much help!)

Warm it inbetween your legs & shake like crazy before you apply it.

You need a light touch with romantique or it streaks.

A lot of people like the colour, I usually do it with a glitter fade. Il probably get trolled for this but I use Barry m glitter dust it works just as well and still lasts 2-3 weeks til next appointment

CND do not advise you to warm your shellac bottles it causes excessive evaporation of the solvents and will make your colours go thick faster, all that's needed is a good shake

for best results with romantique , 3 thin coats is best , keep your brush parallel to the nail to avoid streaking

Looking at your picture i think your main problem is actually your PEP and not your application

What do you do to prepare the nails for shellac?

Thanks for your comment,I think this is my main problem, I used cool blue, cuticle away,file while waiting cuticle away to interact and then clean cuticles and wash and scrub fresh. I have noticed that if cuticle away is dry I cannot clean the cuticle area as I want it becomes very dry and messy and also this friend is being very sensitive and I am a bit scared to do much. Can you please give me some advice.Really appreciate!!
