Hello,

I was wanting some advice on what I should implement into my at home salon, I was looking at the either CND weekly (vinylux) or CND shellac.
I'm just building up my clientele so I'm wondering if is should start with the weekly and move once I have the clientele or fork out the money and go staight to shellac,

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I think you've gotten a bit confused.

Vinylux is a normal nail polish. It takes 8 minutes to dry, lasts for around a week and is removed with polish remover.

Shellac is shellac. A gel polish hybrid that is cured so it is dry immediately, lasts for around 2 weeks and is removed with an acetone wrap.

I think both are good to have but i mostly do shellac x

yes sorry Thankyou for that I understood the methods of how long they lasted just was getting confused with the names
Thankyou for your advice

I started with offering Vinylux polish, saved up some money, then brought in CND Shellac a year later when I felt really competent with it.
If you are already skilled in gel polish then go for both from the start as budget allows.

One positive point from just starting with vinylux was that I had a good understanding of the colours my clients liked, so therefore bought these ones in Shellac first to start me off.

I reckon i do:
Manicures - 90% shellac, 10% vinylux
Pedicures - 80% vinylux, 20% shellac
