Hello, I'm hoping for a little bit of advise..
I've been doing Shellac for a year now and I've not had any problems with the shellac not lasting but recently my shellac isn't lasting as well at all... maybe 3/4 days.

Could it be my lamp? I've got a second hand lamp, it says I've got 40 hours left but could it be overrided?

Thank you

If I remember rightly...it's been a while since I had the UV lamp, you can over-ride the timer but it only lasts for 10 hours then stops completely so it's unlikely it's been over-ridden for that long.

It was always recommended you turn your lamps after about 50 hours, clients often knock the nails on them and you'll see bits of shellac on the bulbs if you look closely. Try taking them out and turning them over. I think there is a video on YouTube on how to do it if you are unsure.

Thank you very much, I will see if it helps :)
