CND UV or LED lamp

Im.about to start my shellac beginners training. In the starter kit you are provided with a UV lamp. I wss asked for as additional £100 to upgrade to the LED lamp.

The course was expensive and i dont want to spend too mucb more money thats not needed.

What lamp is better?

Is the UV lamp discontinued? Will i still be able to buy bulbs?
