CND Vinylux not drying

Hi,
Just given a client a luxury pedicure, but the second coat of polish didn't dry fully. Is my Vinylux, at ten months old, past its best..?
I'm not sure as to the reason for the drying time for the second coat being more than 10 minutes and still tacky at that point. First coat felt dry, so couldn't be due to excessive moisture in nail after pedi, surely?
Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you use the Vinylux top coat too? If anything i find my older polishes more drying x

Did you scrubfresh? Apply thickly? Shake the bottle? Was the polish clumpy at all? They're the only reasons I can think, but I do apply top coat when the second colour layer is still tacky x

Mine was more thick and gloopy, rather than clumpy. Did I not shake the bottle enough, do you think?

Yes try and give it a better shake as it shouldn't really be gloopy

I found my bottle of Hot Chilis all goopy last week! First coat went well but second coat didn't dry on one of the big toes. I removed, scrubfresh-ed again, chucked the bottle away and opened a new one. I would hazard a guess, if Vinylux is goopy don't bother.

My newish bottle of Rubble is very clumpy and goopy, and I had a client who I used midnight swim on say that the polish didn't dry for 3 hours This is one of the reasons that I have gone back to OPI and China Glaze, but I will still keep vinylux in the colours that match my Shellacs

Thanks for that. I was also considering China Glaze or OPI, although they seem to cost more.
