Hello.
Looking for some advice please. I had very light blonde hair and are attempting to have red. I know its the most difficult to keep up to etc and I’m fine with this. I started off with Majirel 5.45 (stylists choice not mine ) and was far too copper then Inoa 5.56 (because Majirel 5.6 was out of stock) was nearer to what I wanted but washed straight out in 2 washes next Majirel 5.6 which was beautiful loved it until it faded about 5/6 washes later so We though if we go a shade darker it may fade to about a 5.6 and last last long so tried 4.56 which again is very nice dark at first but then was okay for a couple of weeks then went a pinky red . I’m loving being red after 25+ years of blond and my hair looks so thick and so much healthier so don’t want to give in at all! All used with 6% (20 vol) peroxide. If anyone share there knowledge that could help I would be so grateful. Thank you in advance

You shouldn’t be having tint with 6% re-applied to already coloured hair as it’s likely to make it very porous and the colour will fade very quickly. Talk to your hairdresser about using a semi instead.

Did they pre colour you hair first to replace the missing undercoat?

Hello. I have picked up a semi in the same colour from the suppliers yesterday with 4% will see how that goes. Thanks.
