Colour advice please!

Hey guys, I had a client that wanted light sliver/grey hair I prelighten hair by doing full head foils using 20vol. Then applied full head of wella 8/81 colour touch, the end result was really nice!(attached a picture) However when the client then washed her hair at home a few days later the colour completely washed out! Does anyone why this happened and how to ensure it doesn't happen again? Thanks in advance

Have you actually seen her hair or has she just messaged you to say it’s washed out?
What developer did you use with CT?
I recommend you don’t offer any opinion until you’ve seen and felt the hair yourself.
Clients sometimes ‘re-do’ their colour and then blame the hairdresser when it doesn’t look very good. Also, using poor quality shampoo will strip colour and too hot straighteners will take colour right out.

I think you need to see it in person and ask about her maintenance regime at home. Generally, CT wouldn’t wash out in 1 shampoo so something’s amiss. It looks straightened to me so I wonder what temperature her straighteners are set to?

Completely different lightning! These people take some random photo and then complain the colour has washed out- she in artificial Lighting for a start. What did she wash it in?
