Hiya,

My name is Steph and I have a quick question if I may.

I have grown out bleach highlights and wanted to colour my hair to get a purple / violet tone type look.

I was thinking of stripping the hair of the colour first but then thought that the bleach parts might be a lighter purple which I thought might be quite nice :). I was going to use koleston perfect as I've use this range before.

I have picked 6/6 dark violet blonde with 0/66 violet with 30ml. Do you think I should add some base colour into that? Or will the 6/6 be enough? My base color is a 6 :)

Thanks
Steph

ohh sorry,

Well I used to work for Headmasters in Twickenham, I left there and got a job in an office lol I still loved hair and colouring and continued to colour friends and family, just little things like highlights and tints, nothing major.

I don't have any qualifications, some day I will go back to collage but like I said I'm not qualified.

This colour is for me. I can post a pic of my hair now, if that helps? :)

p.s added the colour i want to try and achieve

As you have said you don't have any formal qualifications in hairdressing, this thread has now been moved to Consumer Queries.

I would just point out though the hair professionals who use this site are not permitted to give detailed technical information, particular colour formulas, to those who are unqualified, so it's best that you're aware of this.

thought I would post my results anyway...
