Colour advice

Client booked in for a week on Saturday so thought id get this on now to see opinions.
Natural level 6...currently a base 5 all over. Last coloured 1 month ago & before was 6 month ago.

Sooo my client well...close friend has done the "i quite fancy this which one do you think" & sent the 2 pictures.

Peraonally i prefer the second which is what we're probably going for.

How would you hairgeeks go about achieving this?

She alot plans on having it cut to this style.

I prefer the first one i was ment to say x

Do a root drag with a 5 then balayage a few pieces using bleach and then tone.

I would say they are different looks, for the 2nd pic you will need to lighten the base to at least a 6 possibly a 7 with lighter sections.
