I have been doing coloured braid for a while now and loving all the colours being added to the Dutch braids ... I have them perfect when the hair is all the one length .. But I struggle with thick hair with layers where the ends are poking out on me . what product do people use and what’s the best technique thanks x

I have short hair as I am male but when I went to get box braids as the woman was braiding my hair she put got2be gel on my ends then carried on braiding x
Hope this helps x

Brillant thank you

You're not supposed to recommend non professional products, do you want to make any money from your career?

I do use professional products , I also earn quite a bit of money from my job , I was just simply telling the lady above what was used while I was getting my hair done [emoji4]

I’ve always had this problem too! I use Kadus gel wax mixed with some velvet oil but it’s not strong enough. A strong gel sounds like a great idea!

You can find strong hold gel in Wella Professionals, American Crew, Sebastian..... Probably every hair brand for salons.

Cheaper products are packed full of filler which is plastic and leaves a coating on the hair. This is why the hair will look shiny and styles, but one that builds up on the hair it will snap off.

Plus how much money are you gonna make on recommending a gel from Boots? Nothing. Whereas if you focused on a professional brand you can make money.

To me it makes no sense to support the mass consumer industry when you can support the hair and beauty industry.

Can I ask where you are getting you coloured hair from?
