Colour help!

My best friend has THE worst hair... no matter what I put on it it always fades to a yellow blonde! She wants to go balayage.
Last time we used 6 on the root as it’s already very warm, and two was later just washed out!
Would you suggest pre pig? Her hair is so warm anyways, but colour is just not lasting at all.

What do you mean “2 hours later it washed out”? Why would you wash her hair 2 hours after applying the colour?
Balayage is a technique not a colour so what does she actually want?
Sorry but your post is very confusing and I can’t picture what the problem is.
What’s her natural level and her hair condition like?
Can you provide a lot more detail so we can better advise you please?

Sorry 2 washes, not hours.
She wants base 6, with blonde balayage technique used.
Natural level is 7, condition is good.
She has previously has full head high lift tint on her hair. It just washes so yellow/warm. Nothing stays

Is the colour ok when you first do it?
If so, it must be something that the client is doing and/or her hair is very porous.

Does she use straighteners? If so, you might find this link helpful.

So she is naturally a 7, has highlighted hair with highlift, you applied a 6 to the root and its faded? And her hair always fades to yellow?
What brand do you use, what shades and what developers please?
