Hey everyone I had platinum white blonde hair and just had my hair done a light brown with different brown and dark blonde tones through it. I've been told that it might fade so was just wondering if anyone could recommend any really good colour locking shampoo and conditioners to stop this happening please? I really love the colour and really don't want it to fade!

Thank you :)

Yep, Pureology gets my vote too. Outstanding stuff and they gaurantee no colour fade.
Out of interest, did your stylist not recommend products? xxx

Pureology is the range that guarantees that it will not fade your colour. Fab range too,

Have a read about it on Welcome - Indigo Hair & Beauty

Ooo I've just bought some can't wait to try it now :) I've purchased pureology Hydrate shampoo & conditioner. Have you ever used the thickening masque and if so is it any good?

The whole range is amazingly good. Did you get it off the above site? There are free scented candles with every two products ordered at the mo. The esssential oils in "hydrate" are so lovely they made it into a candle!!!

Yes indigo and it wasn't a bad price either. I also got the candles. I find other makes are fading my colour and this have the Antifade in it so I can't wait to use it. Thanks :)

Yeah they actually sell Pureology in their salon! They have given me a little sample sachet of the stuff so i'm going to use that tonight! Do u think it is worth buying then? They are a bit expensive at around £15 a bottle but if its guaranteed to work and I get my moneys worth I dont mind. Which shampoo and conditioner is best to try so it dont fade, they have all different ones on that site i'm not sure which one to go for, hydrate? Xx

Does this range work for vibrant hair colours like red blue etc??

I know this sucks but its the best way to keep the color. Wash your hair in cool/cold water.

Makes no difference. It is the shampoo you use, and sunlight that make the difference. Cool water is an old wives tale.

My pureology arrived and tried and tested it's beautiful and leaves hair really light and shiny, you've converted me :)

Yes it is amazing on the vibrant reds/coppers.

Hydrate is the "catch all" part of the range. If you have thin or flat hair, go for volumise. If your hair is damaged by bleach or straighteners go for repair.
If you have thick, frizzy hair, go for supersmooth. If your hair is pretty normal then stick with hydrate.
