Hi all - I have been doing extensions for a while, mainly LA weaves but struggle to colour match blondes and mixed colours. Does anyone have any tips?

Colour matching can be tricky but once u get a system it gets easier! Firstly do a process of elimination, lose all the colours that are clearly not right ( so if you’re matching blonds get rid of the dark browns and reds) then you need to get tone, if it’s an ashy blond get rid of all the blonds that are too warm or red. U should be left with only a few colours to play with so u have more chance of getting it right. Hope this helps! X

Thanks for your reply! I think it’s more so the ratio/placement I get stuck with! Highlighted hair and multitonal blondes walking through the door give me the ultimate fear!

Colour matching just comes with practise.I love doing highlighted hair x
