Hey geeks,
Client has been doing own hair and messed it up.
Colour ATM is really grey, am I going to hav to do a gentle effasor on her, or will a golden toner counteract?
She wants to be a natural looking blonde.

Thanks you in advance, much appreciated :) xxx

I'd just do a bleach and water it's just tone so you don't need anything too harsh!! Then go from there!
You might find it goes green If you put a gold toner on it!! Xxx

Thank you lux geek, bleach and water... Just visually watch it?xx

it looks quite khaki green on the ends? i doubt the gold tone would be enough to counter act the ends, as they look quite green!

with the bleach and water you would need to keep your eye on it and maybe use a stronger bleach on the ends, and less through midlengths? its hard to tell from a picture but it really is just visual i would say.

if she wants to be natural blonde after youve bleached it out i would maybe put a gold-copper tone in it to put a bit of warmth back in to stop the same thing happening? that way it should take it back to a natural base

Thank you del!
She was 12/0 foils then messed up by doing it global all over, plus several other things then the ash toner!

I use L'Oreal so will use a 903 to tone after I get the ash out, do you think that sounds okay?xx

yeh i think that sounds good! i was full head bleach tinting my hair for about a year, so i could get an all over grey lady gaga type colour! i loved it, but its not for everyone and it is one of the hardest things to get out of your hair, luckily for me the grey was just a toner - so would wash out easily

the bleach and water wont take long to work and the hair will lighten quite a bit so be careful which base shade you use as it will probably drop a shade or 2! but definitely use a deep golden tone and you could even put a pinky nail size bit of copper concentrate tone (i use schwarzkopf so this would be -77) into the mix and that will make sure you get the warmth back!
