Just bought colour touch /00 (crytal clear) to add with another colour touch (44/65) just to, I thought dilute the mixture and add shine rather than use a base. Hair is already a 4-5. I think I have made a mistake as the box says relights blondes. I have not used this mix before, but was inspired as redken have a neutral, shine only mix that gets added to any colour.
I can take it back, no probs. I usually put 4/77 straight on and get a lovely depth with warmth going through, however fancied more reddy tones going through, but am afarid to use it alone as could be too vibrant.
Any advise on a good mix? and was I wrong to but the crystal clear?

the box does say relights but it is just clear. i use it to add shine and its great xx

I would have thought it would do the same thing as the redken crystal clear.

i use it to and it is great for just shine.

Oh I didn't know you could mix it but I agree on it's own it's a great shine boost. Let me know how u get on x

If you have a colour touch shade chart have a look at the back,it explains more on application, special mixes and intermixing within each C/T range. It does say to only intermix relights within the relights range which made me wonder if intermixing with normal C/T makes it wishy washy ? Never tried it though so can't say for sure.
Before i got my shade charts i found simular info on the wella professionals site. It said the same on there but the /00 can be used directly after colouring.

I haven't used 44/65 but did use the shade above (55/65) a month or so ago. I mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with 5/0 and it was very vibrant. So i would imagine the 44/65 would be reasonably vibrant as it is one of the Intensive Reds.Maybe a strand test would be your best bet.
