Colouring grey hair

Hello all,
have just found this site and have been trawling thru the forum for the last 3 days....how fantastic it is to share ideas..help others...wish id found this years ago!!!!
So thought id tell you about a client colour to see if anyone would do anything different to me or have any advice!!
I am colouring a clients hair on monday...she is 80% grey(white).
...she already has some colour in her hair on the mid length/ends which is a wishy washy dirty blonde colour.
I use wella koleston..she wants to be fairly blonde...so i was thinking id use 9/00 (with perhaps 9/03) 20 vol and then some bleach h/lites thru t section....was wondering what colours would any of you pro's use???
Do you think the 9/00 wil be too yellowy???

Hi I'm new to this too and think it is fab!! I use koleston and 9/00 with a touch 9/03 20 vol works fab on grey hair, the 9/03 just gives it that shine and not too yellow, a few hi lites would like nice or maybe add a coupe low lites 8/03 just to break it up? can u still get 99/00? it seemed to come and go, it was fab!

sounds ok. long job but it'l jook nice. Why not go onto the groups and join the hair forum, loads of hair advice there !

hiya i would maybe do an 8 if i was going to do bleached highlights aswel suppose it depends how blonde she wants to be i would worry that if i did 9 which is really light it would end up too light with the highlights xxx

Ok so to follow on from beginning of thread...when i did this lady i used 1/2 9/00 and 1/2 9/03 with 6%...... it turned out lovely...so nice infact we decided she didnt need the bleached t section h/l after all
